TUESDAY 30th AND WEDNESDAY 31st OF OCTOBER PASSWORD

The password to get into the English classroom for next week is the answer to the following question: WHEN IS THE SCARIEST AND SPOOKIEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR?  La contrasenya per entrar a la classe d'anglès la pròxima setmana serà la resposta a la següent pregunta: QUAN ÉS LA NIT DE L'ANY MÉS ESGARRIFOSA I TERRORÍFICA?

FIRST THURSDAY LISTENING

Dear families,  every Thursday we finish our lessons listening to song that it has  been previously chosen by the students. The proposals must follow two rules: no swearwords on the lyrics and no violence on the song video. We have a long list of suggestions, so far. The Thursday listening are organized as follow: we will listen the same song four sessions in a row. The first Thursday the students will be given the entire lyrics, instead the second and third Thursday the lyrics will have missing words to be found out by them. Finally, the fourth Thursday the students will be given the lyrics, again with gaps (missing words). These gaps will be a mix of the blanks worked on the previous lessons. In this case, the fourth session, the activity will be corrected by the teacher and marked. The students will listen to the song twice and, depending on the level of difficulty of the song, they will have the lyrics on the video. The goal of this activity is to practice the correct

Dear families, I would like to introduce myself: my name is Núria Quintana. This year I am your children English teacher. The intention of this blog is to be a tool for sharing with you what we are learning at school, therefore you could be able to back your children in their learning process. In the first place, I would like to inform you about the contents that we will work this first term: The 4th graders A have English class on Tuesday (splitted group), on Wednesday (early morning routine) and on Thursday (whole group). The 4th graders B have English class on Wednesday (splitted group), on Thursday (whole group) and on Friday (early morning routine). Obviously, each of these sessions have unlike procedures and rhythms, as it is completely different to deal with a big or small group of students or to dispose of 30 minutes or an entire hour to work the contents.
